I recently travelled south of Aberdeen, Scotland, with friend and fellow photographer Douglas Weir. We wanted to explore the coast and left Aberdeen before sunrise on a cold Sunday morning.
As always Dougie was great company and we had an interesting few hours exploring the local area. Clouds blocked most of the sunrise so I opted for a monochrome seascape. The image above was taken using a Lee 'Big Stopper' filter to give the sea the misty surreal look.
